Can we run Power Automate Desktop Offline or without Internet Connectivity?

As per our requirement we want to run Power Automate Desktop in some remote areas where there is limited access to the Internet or no Internet at all. So, can we run Power Automate Desktop Offline?

Power Automate Desktop, despite being on-premises software, necessitates constant internet connectivity for executing workflows. Considering Power Automate Desktop as a frontend tool and Dataverse(It is cloud based one) as the backend database, each operation requires a call to Dataverse. In the event of a loss of connectivity, it will be unable to retrieve data from Dataverse, resulting in error messages.

Hi @admin_robostar ,

As per my understanding, Power Automate Desktop requires an internet connection to function. It cannot run flows offline as all data is stored in the cloud1. This means that without a network connection, the bot can’t run any flows1. Even for flows that only use applications already installed on the computer, an internet connection is still required

Hi @admin_robostar

You can't run the flows if there is no internet connectivity, PAD is a on-premise software only, but the flows are stored in your onedrive, Also, it will login with your credentials and for choosing any environment also requires internet as well
