Hi everyone,
I have a process set up with M Flow, everything was working well until today morning when I detected that message
{{approve.value}}
Instead of the real approver message.
I had verified the email in Flow (Image 1), and remove the control and had its added once again buth the received email is still with the same message.
Someone has presented a similar case with?
That was interesting. I have had the same issue with {{approve.value}} and thought it was solved once but then occured again. I did not think that it could be caused by the browser. I will check some more on this. Nice trouble shooting! Thanks!
I have been having the same issue for some time.
I just narrowed it down: the issue happens in chrome incognito but at the same time the comment is parsed correctly on non-incognito chrome window.
May be something to do with cache?
Hi,
I have the same issue.
After doing some testing I figured this was happening when the emails were approved from Chrome Browser.
If they use different browser or Desktop app, this wll not happen.
Can you test the same and let me know if that is the case for you too?
Regards,
Gowtham
Hi everyone,
I have noted that sudenly the issue was solved, I would like to know what was the route cause of this?
No changes in my flow were developed. Ist anyone else solved their case?
Thank you
Have just recently started to get the same issue, certainly a new one as flows which were working perfectly fine a week ago or so are just just returning {{Approve.value}} instead of the approval comments.
Made a completely fresh flow and tested as below and got the same results:
Any suggestions or resolution to this would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: On further investigation found this thread from last month here with the same issue which was apparently subsequently resolved.
Hi,
I have the same condition with @llss86 , the comments from approver come out as {{approve.value}} in the email. I think this issue start from yesterday? Before, the comments from the approver are the expected comments, now it become {{approve.value}} even though i use the approval template from microsoft flow. Please help.
Regards,
Yola

Hi @llss86 ,
Could you please share the full screenshot of the configuration of your flow?
I have made a test on my side and don't have the issue that you mentioned, the approver comments works well on my side.
The screenshot of my flow as below:
Please test your flow again to see if the issue still exists, if not , please share more details about your flow and we could reproduce your issue.
Best regards,
Alice
