SQL trigger from View

ok so I finally got my tables to work in flow, barely... I have to manually type them all in because Flow won't retrieve the list of tables...

anyways I'd like to use a vew I've created as a "when item is created" trigger. the view includes a few more detail columns that are necessary for the remaining actions.

I have typed in the view as a table in the trigger, and when it feels like connecting to my gateway, it pulls the columns in for later in the flow, but I haven't had it work yet and am curious if it's even possible before wasting too much of my time troubleshooting.

Hi @Shegs,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

Do you want to fire your flow when a new item is created in your SQL view within your flow?

The "When an item is created" trigger of SQL connector is used to detect if there is an new item is created in your SQL table currently. If you want to detect if there is a new item is created in your SQL View using the trigger, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in Microsoft Flow currently.

as we have pretty good data separation, views work better for us so we can view sales records and the customer information in one layout. I feel like I have a grasp on how to make some of these work in the script, I was having issues finding out why my tables weren't triggering. I finally found the requirements for an SQL table to become a trigger, and they make sense (they have to have a key field and a rowversion field) (I have a feeling these column identities would be lost in a view)
While most of these tables were made long before rowversion was a thing, I will have to consider implementation. until then, I will just use a scheduled trigger that pulls rows from a view.
