I am trying to active the hide or show the eye from textinput mode password and the power apps didn't work so well, sometimes he show, sometimes not.Anybody know why?
Can you share more info about it, are you using a component or an icon to show hide the password or something diferent?
Just the textinput in Password mode
I don't know if it is a native function in power apps, but I could create my own hide/show password.
1. you need an icon (icon.view) and set a variable on select to change from true to false and vice-versa;
2. you need a textInput where you need to change the Mode depending on the variable set in the previous step
I know by the variable, but the text input has this eye on default, but its "buggy" and I want know why is that
Was anyone able to find out how to remove the eye icon? It doesn't work at all and cannot find any property to remove it.
Great idea! I used a rectangle with the same colour (fill) as the text box. I also had to turn off all hover effects on the text box. This wasn't pretty but worked a treat. Love your solution though! What I've also done is to change the icon to the "Hide" one, whenever that variable is true.
In the "Icon" property of the icon, I added the following....
Also, because the "Hide" icon is a little higher than the "View" one, 3 pixels to be exact, I also had to add the following code to the "Y" coordinate of the icon.
