Canvas app - helpdesk

Hi All,

 

Newbie here, I really liked the canvas app helpdesk and managed to customise it a bit, what I can't figure out is where is the ticket data stored and if it is possible to report on it using Power BI?

 

Also when I get a workmate to log tickets, I don't see that ticket, only see what was already in canvas as sample data.

 

Any help most welcome.

    Out of the box, this app stores data in an internal collection only. You'll need to set it up to store data externally, and this article can help with that. If you are really new, I suggest using a Sharepoint list as a data source since it is intuitive and straightforward. You can also read a Sharepoint list into PowerBI.
