Hello,
I want to press on my "edit idea"-button, and then the chosen Idea is getting opened in the editform to edit the submitted Idea again. But when I want to give the Item function of my Editform the SelectedItem the Code isnt working. What have I done wrong here? I used a gallery for the Edit Idea page

why you are navigating on Screen 2 and using the SelectedItem on Screen1?
are u coming from a gallery? then you need to set Gallery1.Selected in the Items property
you need to rename to the name of your gallery

In addition to the note from @anandm08 about the screens, you need to select the item first so you can use Gallery.Selected value. Try adding Select(Parent); at the beginning of the code.
