Is it possible to check if a user is part of a dynamics team using a Canvas App instead of using Flow

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to validate that a user is part of a specific Dynamics Team. I believe it would be easier if they had that team linked to Azure AAD, but assuming its just a standard Dynamics Team, in a Canvas App, I want to show certain things if they are part of certain teams.

Is this possible without calling a flow to do it and return back data for the Canvas App to review?

Could you tell me what's dynamics team? Is it an owner team or access team?

Let's say you have an owner team in dataverse, we can get users in this way.
