Dears,

i have two list in SharePoint same as requests, ListA columns (Name, email, National ID , Attachments) ListB columns (Name, email, National ID, Attachments) so ListA users will update requests to add attachments then workflow will add attachments in ListB as below,

created a flow

1- when a file or item is modified in ListA

2- Get attachments from ListA

3- Get items in ListB (National ID ListA equals Natioanl ID ListB)

4- Get attachment content

5- add attachments from ListA to ListB

process works successfully but workflow put attachment content 1KB after adding from ListA to ListB so need to get full attachment content after adding in ListB.

    Hi @MohamedMo,

You would need to convert your data to binary format before creating a file on SharePoint. You can use the following to convert your data from base64 to binary.

    base64ToBinary(fileContent)

for more information about converting base64 content to binary please refer to the following link.

Hi! Did you ever find a solution to this? I have the exact same scenario and the attachment content on List B does not go through, just the attachment name.

In the "Add attachment" action, I'm using this expression for File Content: body('Get_attachment_content')

Thanks for sharing if you solved your issue. 🙂

@ahartsfield Add the file extension after DisplayName in your File Name property

My extension may be different, depending on what is uploaded. It could be .png or .pdf or .jpg. I'm looking at dynamic content and not seeing an attachment option there. Do you have a way to do that with dynamic content? Thank you!

Instead of DisplayName, use the field File name with extension

The name of the attachment is coming through just fine. It's the content that isn't coming through.  In my flow I'm using the 'Get attachments' action, not 'Get file content'. I've tried that action also but the content also didn't come through.
