I'm confused on how /what we need.

We have several environments we've built portals in.

For pricing (Power Pages Pricing | Microsoft Power Pages) it says authenticated $200/site/mo for 100 users.

  • So I assume "Site" means environment? Or unqiue website url?
  • 100 users, is that concurrently 100 users on at any one time or 100 unique visits per month?
  • At the to of the pricing page it says "Authenticated users per website1" there's a footnote "1"... which reads "1 - Requires access to the Microsoft 365 admin center with global administrator or billing administrator roles."  so is the 100 users, only admins? not vistors? Or both?

Lastly, even though we have not enabled anonymous access (seems liek a bad idea) int he reports I see on average 500 per month? And in December was 2000.  Are these just bots or hackers trying to access things?

Thanks,

Terry

    Hi @Mattw112IG,

    1. Site means page --> Each page you have registers users meaning you have portal1.com and portal2.com and anonymous users access the page you will pay depending on the amount of access.
    2. If you use the page only internally and have 100 Accounts with a proper license, the page registers the authenticated accounts and you should, at least from my understanding, only pay for the 100 Accounts. If you have different methods of signing in, I guess you will pay the amount for each loggedIn account ex. Facebook and Microsoft etc.
    3. If you don't have made your page public, the up and down seems strange. The only thing I can imagine here is that the company is quiet large and users have accessed the page more often in those month. Could you calculate a max per month

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Hope that helps.
