Collections - best time and place to initiate?

Hi,

I am back again with this old chestnut after some long cogitating and reflection - cant put it off any longer and am still not clear how to achieve it.

With in my app I wish to collect the value of 167 radio buttons.

A filter will be run to count how many have a value and how many are "Yes" from a gallery?

With each radio selected - the count will change in real time - and I hope be able to be seen in a label and latter saved on upload?

At what stage is the best to initiate the collection?

When the screen becomes visible?

Can  the collection be refreshed - say a refresh at each radio button if the collection is created at screen visible.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Yes, you can create the collection in the OnStart property of the app and set the collection as the data source of a gallery control.

You can use ClearCollect to delete all the records from the old collection created with OnStart and then recollect the values after you change all the radio buttons to the same collection.
