Is there a way to find out and access the location of the excel sheet used as a source of the data for the dropdown/combo box?
@sid-agarwal You can add gallery control in your app and the Items property of your gallery, you can set it to excel table and then from there you can validate the data.

@ANB I am not sure if I understand your 1st part about inspecting the data in the current file and changing it - that is what I want to do.
yes, it is in prod and I prefer not to delete it.
@sid-agarwal As per knowledge and understand,
When you add static excel to an app, it'll be available in the app just like any other data source.
To inspect the data, you could add a data table or gallery control to an app, set the data source to the static Excel data source, and view the data through the control.
Removing is an option here: But i dont recommend if the app is in production.

@ANB so no way to retrieve it and edit the data? other than maybe replacing this file with another?
@sid-agarwal As per the screenshot, I see Imported from Excel which is static excel file uploaded to app itself.
Other option which is shown below store the excel in cloud.
In you case it is static file.

@ANB yes, I am referring to the cloud location of the excel. My colleague made this app and now is on maternity leave. Is there a way to figure out where it sits as I need to make some changes to the excel sheet
HI @sid-agarwal , What do you mean by location here? Are you referring to cloud location where the excel file is stored?
If yes then it could be such as Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and OneDrive for Business. If you are the owner of the app then you must be aware of the location.
