Hi
I am capturing data in a sharepoint list from a form. For one of the fields (person's email address) I want to look up an alias for them from a different sharepoint list so it automatically adds the alias name to the first list. The lookup function doesn't really do what I want as I need the alias to be added to the original list.
Is there a way to do this in the list? Or is there a Power Automate flow that will populate the alias column by referencing the second list and its common column?
Thanks
Paul
Google power automate sharepoint odata filters. It's under advanced settings.
Hmm, not sure I know what you mean. Is there a video online or something that explains?
if it's a 1:1 relationship, you can do a get items and pass an odata filter to find the specific email address and then you'll have access to the column with the alias
