Teams send high priority card

Hi everyone,

Not even sure this is possible as I just started toying around with sending Adaptive cards to a Teams channel.

With normal messages to a channel, you have the option in json to send the message as 'important' so it triggers alerts on the users side.

Is it possible to send an adaptive card as important, or high priority? Use case would be tying in to a monitoring solution for outage alerts.

Thank you!

    Hi @Scotty182002

It is available for sending the card to a user

Unfortunately the same option is not available while sending to a channel.

    Hope this Helps!

    Hello @Scotty182002

Maybe the isAlert field should be useful for what you need.2020-04-15 18_29_04-Window.png

    Thanks @yashag2255

Am I able to send to multiple individuals using the suggested 'send to user' instead of send to channel?

    Hi @Scotty182002

Yes. You can pass multiple email addresses separated by ';' in the recipient parameter of the action.

@yashag2255 that doesn't seem to be the case. Entering in more than one email address causes the flow to fail with error message stating it found no user. Seems its only expecting a single email address in that field.

    Hi @Scotty182002

In that case, you can use arrays:

Populate the array with the emails that you want to send the card to.

    Hope this Helps!

    Hi,

Seems to be a lot of good answers in this thread already and it seems like we are getting close. If you cant add more email addresses to the action we can always add more of the same action and have each one target a different person. Here's some additional information on the Teams connector also.

    Regards,

    Alex
