Approver not receiving Time Off Request from correct Requester

This is the first flow I've built and was working well, until an employee actually used the power app to request time off. My supervisor (Ronald) received a Team's Approval from me (Craig), instead of the actual employee (Walter) who requested the time off. Ronald also did not receive an email, as I thought he would.

Can anyone kindly recommend the steps required to get this issue solved? Thanks in advance!

Hi @Shaguar357 ,

I didn't recognise the approval action from your screenshot. You most likely need to use the action Start and wait for an approval

Expand the Show advanced options of the approval action:

From here you can set the requester of the leave approval request:

Set the Requestor to the Created by Email dynamic content as shown above. The approval requestor will this be the user who created the SharePoint item.
