Power bi button not triggers for other company users

Dear All,

I Have created a power bi report and inserted power automate button to trigger a flow which exports the data of report for user.

However it only runs when it is triggered by report owner and shows Untriggered when clicked by other users.

Is any suggestion on the same or need any specific change in the flow so that other users also can trigger the flow.

Thank you

Thanks, you're absolutely right. This article discusses it more: Frequently asked questions about Power Automate licensing - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn.

The issue was I was using a premium connector, which would require every user who runs the flow to have a Power Automate Premium license. Going to create a workaround by turning this instant flow into an automated flow.

It's a licensing issue, I can't recall the exact license, but it's something like [Power Automate Free] license assigned. On top of being shared the flow.

I am still having this same issue. People within my organization that I have given "Run Only" permissions to are stuck on "Triggering". Did anyone have a resolution to this issue? The only thing I've found is others adding people as flow owners for it to work, but I'd prefer not to do that if possible.

    Hello @RezaDorrani ,

Thanks for this information which solved my problem however now one new issue is raised, the user gets notification of the shared flow which I want to eliminate.

So is there any way to eliminate notification to users when flow is shared to run-only purpose?

    Hi @Sairaj ,

You need to ensure they have run only permissions on the flow.

Go to flow details page and grant users run only permissions (on right side of page).
