My power app needs to connect 150 forms, but this is too laggy. What can I do better?

The recommended maximum number of controls in an app is 500 (although a bit over this generally works fine), however 150 forms I suspect will exceed this by multiples. As well, Excel is really the "data source of last resort" if you do not have access to SharePoint (or dataverse if you want to pay the licencing costs) and overtaxing this may also lead to performance issues, particularly if the datasets are larger.

My suggestion - switch to SharePoint Lists if you have access to it and consider breaking up your app into several smaller apps - it is easy enough to launch one from another, even passing parameters if required.
