In my app, I have a card that has no MaxLength section. I want the card to allow entry of multiline text. The card is already unlocked. How can I add a MaxLength section? Thanks!

How did you add the datacard field and what type of field is it? Datacards will expose properties on them that are relevant to the field type. Custom datacards expose none.
If you don't have a MaxLength property on the data card, you can always set the maxlength property on your input control directly instead.

@RandyHayes Thank you for responding to my question. I added the datacard field by adding one of the custom fields available in the form. Unfortunately, none of the custom fields in this form was the multiline text field that I wanted and that I have in other forms in this app, so I added a numerical custom field and tried to make changes. I expect that's why I have no MaxLength section on the data card. Is there a way for me to add the MaxLength to my data card, create a data card designed to accept multiline text, or copy a data card that accepts multiline text from one of my forms to another? I am a very novice user, so I would appreciate the most dumbed-down, step-by-step solution and explanation you can provide.

Can you explain how I would do that and what you mean by 'your input control'? Is that the form, the data card, or the underlying text input? Thanks!
