I'm encountering an issue with a Power Automate flow that I hope someone can help with. We have a shared mailbox that needs to send automatic replies when it is CCed in emails. The flow works perfectly when I manually test it by sending an email to the shared mailbox and CCing it. However, it does not trigger when external senders CC the shared mailbox.

Flow Configuration:

Trigger: When a new email arrives (V3)
Condition: If CC contains shared mailbox
Action: Send an email from a shared mailbox (V2)

Steps Taken:

Verified that the trigger is set to monitor the shared mailbox.
Ensured the condition checks if the shared mailbox is in the CC field.
Reviewed the flow run history for any errors or issues.

Observations:

The flow triggers and sends the automatic reply when I manually test it.
The flow does not trigger for emails from external senders who CC the shared mailbox.
There are no errors or issues logged in the flow run history during the times it fails to trigger.

Questions:

Are there any specific settings or permissions required for the flow to handle emails from external senders?
Could email filtering rules or spam filters be affecting the flow, and how can I check this?
Are there any known issues with Power Automate flows and shared mailboxes that might be causing this problem?

Just to be clear, are you saying the flow doesn't trigger at all when its external people? Or that it triggers but doesn't specifically trigger the code you want when the shared is CCd

Do you have any Trigger Conditions?

Yes, and it seems the issue may be related to the trigger or the connected connection?

The flow should've triggered when a new email would arrive in "shared mailbox" and our "shared mailbox" is on CC. But the way it works (and I believe it may have to do with me not having the right permission, but idk) is that if I GET an email into my PERSONAL inbox when the shared mailbox is on CC, then I GET that automatic response (which is odd).

I attached the condition and the trigger.

Then I tried setting up another trigger "when a new email arrives in the Shared Mailbox (V2)" and I get the below which I do not know how to solve.
Flow save failed with code 'InvalidTemplate' and message 'The template validation failed: 'The template trigger 'When_a_new_email_arrives_in_a_shared_mailbox_(V2)' at line '1' and column '897' is not valid: "Error converting value "" to type 'Microsoft.Azure.Workflows.Templates.Schema.FlowRecurrenceFrequency'. Path 'frequency'.".'.'.

Change the trigger to "When a new email arrives in a shared mailbox (V2)"

Thank you all!
I managed to solve it in the end.
I created every trigger from scracth + the condition rather than using a pre-defined template and it does what it's suppose to do.
