Call/Step Into Power Automate Flow from PowerApps by Passing a Variable

Good morning / Afternoon.

I hope that the image below helps to explain what I am hoping to do.  When I click on a gallery button, I would like to pass a value equal to a variable to a Power Automate Flow and have the flow start from the step with the matching variable.

The idea is to allow a user to see items that are in a SharePoint list that are currently assigned to them and take approval action through the flow.  I would like to use the same notifications and approval actions that are already built into the flow.

You can't trigger a flow from a Power App if its using an Automated trigger.  It has to use either a Power Apps or Power Apps V2 trigger.  If you pass the item ID and your variable value you could easily use a switch to start the flow down a specific branch.  Each branch would duplicate the steps required based on the value passed in.

Thank you.  Are you referring to a Parent-Child flow?

No, I'm talking about a flow manually triggered from the Power App.
