No On Premise Date Gateway Appearing - Will not let me "sign on"

Hello,

My org currently uses a On-Premise Data Gateway to move files from SharePoint to K: drives of departments based on their location. We currently have 7 of these flows up and running perfectly fine.

When trying to create a new one (connection) to a different site - No gateway ever appears - If i go look at the working flows - No gateway appears.

If i go to the server housing the gateway - can never get it to let me "Sign in" to change the service account to the correct one.

My questions: 1. Why are they not appearing when creating a new connection. 2. Why does it never let me sign into it. 3. Why is it gone from working flows?

If im doing something wrong, let me know please!

Thanks

Justin

    Hi @Anonymous,

It seems that you have already created a connection to SharePoint site successfully.

You said that “if I go look at the working flows, no gateway appears”. Do you mean that the already created one doesn’t work either?

Could you check the version of the gateway installed? Many issues can surface when the gateway version is out of date.

Please check the following doc for a reference:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/flow/gateway-reference

Besides, hope the doc on Troubleshooting the On-premises data gateway would be helpful:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-onprem-tshoot

    Best regards,

    Mabel

No the ones that are already set up work just fine.

What i am saying if i go into the connection for a working flow - There is no gateway listed and not one to chose.

I have checked and re-checked my gateway, it continually says it is up to date.

When i go to create a new connection - No gateway appears

Hi @Anonymous, Please make sure you are in the correct environment. Gateways are only supported in the default environment. Could you try these steps to see if that works: 1. uninstall the gateway 2. Download the updated version 3. Restore the gateway using the recovery key If you are still having the issue, please feel free let me know. I will help report it. Best regards, Mabel
