Hello, trying a simple recording (launch computer settings, view disk space and finish the record) using Power Automation Desktop, getting message 'Power Automate Automation Server has stopped working - close the program'. Tried launching and recording as Admin but with no luck. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?. Thanks

After you close the program.  Go to your Task Manager (Ctrl + Alt + Delete).  Find Power Automate Desktop, right click and End Task.  This will fully reset PAD.  Then you should be able to try again.  Unfortunately, closing the windows does not actually close PAD.

    Hi @tech21

You need to exit the PAD, better go to task manager find the pad end that task.

Actually looking for how to prevent this popup message - 'Power Automate Automation Server has stopped working - close the program'. - from appearing as it is preventing proper recording and playback. i have tried to end PAD via above methods, restart, re-install etc but every time a recording is finished, above error msg is displayed and the playback won't happen properly. PAD ver is 2.16. Thanks
