Choice and LookUp fields from SharePoint not showing options

Hello everyone,

I have been having an issue with my forms in PowerApps, they used to work like a charm but at a certain point they stopped working with the app published.

They work perfectly when I simulate the app from the app editor but when published the "loose" the choices.

Just by erasing a character and rewriting it the choices will show but this issue continues to happen to me in all of my apps and is really annoying.

Is this a known bug? Is there something I can do to avoid this issue?

Thankyou in advance,

Claudia.

    Hi @clau0289 ,

Could you please share more details about the data source?

Do you mean the look up field and choices type column not showing well of your app?

What control and formula expression do you use?

Do you use the latest version ?

Could you please try with another Browser to test?

    Best Regards.

    Yumia

    Of course,

I am using as a database a list in Sharepoint with some LookUp columns and some Choice columns. I used the defaul form given in PowerApps for my list. The problem is mainly with the dropdown here are some screenshots on the situation:
This is how it should work.

Yesterday I left it not working (not showing options) and this morning I found it working. I really cannot understand what is going on with these dropdowns, specially because I am not modifying them, I just import the form and, even if the item is blocked (no modifications are done or can be done from the default) it sometimes gives me an error of code in the Items value (default: Choices(...)). It is mainly an issue in the dropdowns but happens from time to time on person columns (it would not look for people when I write the name).

Again it is not a constant problem, it happens from time to time but it is completely out of my control as a developer.

Thank you for your attention and I hope we can find a couse for this problem and a solution.

    Claudia.

yes, it sometimes works and sometines doesn't. I will contact the support for this issue.

In the meantime I have found out that other people developing apps with PowerApps have had or are having the same problem.

Thankyou for your answer. Have a nice day,

    Claudia.

Have you found the solution? I am having the same issue now. My choice options don't show at all. I don't know what caused it.
