Power automate flow - updating a metadata field on sharepoint with path and file combination

I have a very simple question for building a flow but since I am new, I need a little help.

To explain my flow below, I manually want to trigger it, I want to get all the files' inside the sharepoint link. I filter for only .xlsx files and where a custom metadata field 'Category' is empty.

Now, assuming there are two files with no category in the Path - Rev_WRR_India 2020 Month12.xlsx and Rev_WRR_India 2020 Month11.xlsx

Path: Shared Documents/Test/India/Revenue/WRR/

I want the Category field to be Rev|India|WRR|2020|Month11. Could someone please help me as I'm stuck with creating this format value for the category field and updating the file properties?

I'm not able to get the folder path inside the apply to each. If there is an easier way, please feel free to mention the same

    Hi @shravanvijay

If you can get the filename 'Rev_WRR_India 2020 Month12.xlsx' then use the split expression delimiter as '.' (dot). Next use the First expression to get 'Rev_WRR_India 2020 Month12". Next you could use the replace expression for underscore to replace with | and space to replace the same.

hi @abm thank you so much for the response. How do I get the file name inside the apply to each?

Also, I want to get the country and 'WRR' from the folder path though and I'm not able to get the path. I get null when I try this.

    Hi @shravanvijay

Use the Filename property from action step Get File Properties.

    Thanks
