Newbie needs in displaying images.

Hello. I am brand new to Power Apps and I need some guidance.

Please note that the images mentioned in my post hosted by an online vendor.

I need to build an app that allows the user to search by Item Number.

Each number has numerous images related to it and I would like those images to be displayed in the vertical gallery.

And I would like the user to then be able to click on the image in the gallery to view a larger version of it in the container.

Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I hope you enjoy your journey with Power Apps! The community is full of content and YouTube has a lot of good ideas. Your requirement has too many steps to explain in a post.

I suggest you start with the "Asset Checkout" template. It displays items/pictures based on categories, then you can open each item to see the details with bigger image. You can adjust it to do what you want or at least learn some tips and tricks.

To get the template, go to https://make.powerapps.com then select "Create" from the navigation menu (on the left), at the bottom of the page you'll find all out-of-the-box templates. Search for "Assest Checkout" and select it.

Hi @slong_5150 ,

Just one thing to be aware of - the images or web page URL must be available without any security/login - Power Apps cannot do this for you.
