Hello,

I am creating a flow which populats a Microsoft Word template with values from a SharePoint list.

My issue is that I am then trying to convert the file to JPG for printing purposes.

When running the flow, I am being told "The resource could not be found."

I've tried changing the "File Path" property to multiple options with no success.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Below is a screenshot of my flow, as well as the error in testing.

Thanks,

    Hi @rNimmo,

You are using a relative path from a SharePoint file location in a OneDrive action. This is the reason it cannot find it, the action is looking for the file in OneDrive location, where it does not exist. Try and use a OneDrive file path/location instead.

As a workaround you could create a temporary copy in OneDrive with a create file (OneDrive) action. After that you can use the Path field of that action in your Convert file Using Path action.

    Below is an example

    Hi @rNimmo

You have saved the file in SharePoint but not in OneDrive. So, the OneDrive action "Convert file using path" would not work here. You have to first create a file in OneDrive and then convert it to jpg format.

You need to remove the "Convert file using path" action and add the below actions to convert the file to jpg format:

Pass the Id of the newly created file in ondrive to the covert it to jpg format:

If this helps & solves your problem, please remember to give a 👍 and accept my solution as it will help others in the future.

    Thanks

    Hi @ManishSolanki

This did work, thank you, however now when I attach this file in the "Send an email (V2)" action, it's attaching as filetype "file", not "JPG".

    Action:

    OUTPUT:

    Any ideas?

    Thanks again,

    Hi @rNimmo

Pls try adding attachment name as the file name returned from the "Convert file" action:

    Hi @ManishSolanki

I've tried that unfortunately, still with the same result - filetype as type 'file'.

    FLOW:

    rNimmo_2-1691063092138.png

    RESULT:

    Thanks

    Hi @rNimmo

Pls add the file name in "Attachment names - 1" parameter, you have mistakenly updated the "Attachments Content -" parameter.

Pls revert the changes as per the above screenshot. I hope it will resolve all the issues 🙂
