SubmitForm and update column value

Hello all you smarter than me in PowerApps people,

I am still rather new to Power Apps and am still having trouble with some things.

I have created a form with user selectable fields, which is easy to submit.  The problem I am having is I would also like to update the status of the row in my list without the user being able to select the status update.

In short, depending on the options the user selects, a specific save button will become visible.  In the OnSelect property of the button I will submit the form, but would also like to change the status of the row to "Closed" automatically.

What function should I use in addition to the SubmitForm to make this happen?

Thank you all for your continued support.

    Hi @Cathleen307 ,

You need to use Patch function to update status column post SubmitForm.

You can get the last submitted record using Form1.LastSubmit.

Please mark my answer verified if this is helpful!
