Using LLM functions with Web Search

Is there a simple possibility to create a flow doing a web search for grounding an AI answer in Power Automate?

My use case: I want to run through each line of an excel with company names, research some recent information on the company and write it back into the excel. In general, this works well, but my AI answer is only based on the integrated knowledge of the LLM and not capable of researching the most recent numbers (e.g. employee count, address, ...) of the company.

If you want this you have to do 1 of 3 things

    1. Create Azure Search / Ai Indexes with the data and call that
    2. Use connectors to directly query (SharePoint, Dataverse, Salesforce etc) which is not very AI driven but something you have to do in CoPoilot etc, especially if you are doing M365 light agents with no connectors

    3. Make sure you have the information in your business layers (SharePoint, Dataverse) and have a Tenant level license to provide greater coverage of your business data.

Not many other options, unless you want to build (#4) the data by using a flow or other to grab the data you want, summarize it, store it somewhere (SQL, Files etc) and then use that as a datasource, otherwise its real-time calls to get the answers

If these suggestions help resolve your issue, Please consider Marking the answer as such and also maybe a like.

    Thank you!
    Sincerely, Michael Gernaey
