I created a form in sharepoint. How do I access that form in Flow?

I create a form in sharepoint.  Then, I create a blank Flow to be triggered by [when a new response is submitted].  But the Form ID list in [when a new response is submitted] shows the forms of my personal onedrive, instead of new flow created in shparepoint

    Hi @rcfwong,

Could you share a screenshot of your flow?

What do you mean by the Form ID list shows the forms of your personal OneDrive, instead of new flow created in SharePoint?

When using the trigger When a new response is submitted, we are asked to specify a form you’ve created in Microsoft Forms for the Form Id field.

I have made the following test. Please take it for a reference.

    Hi Mabel,

I would like to share my steps for your ease of replication in your environment.

Step 1:  In sharepoint, I created EXCEL Form (TESTING_RAYMOND)

Step 2:  In the top function menu bar, I selected [Flow]>[Create new flow]

Step 3:  In flow templates, I selected one with form trigger.

Step 4:  In the flow design, the form ID field shows form list for my selection.  But I couldn't find the EXCEL form (TESTING_RAYMOND) which was created in Step 1.

May I have your help to share the experience how to resolve it?

    Hi @rcfwong,

Thanks for providing the detailed reproduce steps.

It seems that you are trying to select the Excel file you’ve created in a document library from the forms list of trigger When a new response is submitted.

I am afraid that it is not possible. Only forms that are created on Microsoft Forms could be used in Microsoft forms trigger “When a response is submitted”.

I guess that you want the trigger when an item is added into an Excel file. There is a similar request on Flow Ideas Forum about this issue, please vote the idea at here:

    Best regards,

    Mabel
