I am new to Power Automate Desktop.  There are several features that I wish I had in power automate based on my experience in web automation and UI automation.    On such feature is better controls and options for the browser.

Is there a way for me to customize the browser instance for Power Automate similar to selenium and other open source web development softwares?   Especially based on the web options below?

  • Use a specific profile or specific extension without having to reinstall it at the start of every browser session.
    • Of course you could always just leave the browser window open, but this feels a bit like a duck tape solution.
  • Debug VPN/browser issues and work better with organizations that use a VPN.
  • Enable and Organize file downloads (its a big deal for file organization)
  • Test different browser settings and experimental features
  • Enforce browser version control
    • Specifically to easily test new experimental features
    • Test difference in major browser changes
      • Roll back to a version of chrome that is still on manifest v2 so you can compare differences
