Customize Forms App Repeatedly Prompting for Permissions Approval

Hi. I have a Power App created with the 'Customize Forms' option for a Sharepoint list. Recently, it has started prompting for permissions (Sharepoint, O365 Users, etc.) every time a user starts a new browser session. This should only happen on the first time a given user access the app. In our org, we have 2 apps of this flavor, and a bunch of Canvas apps and this bug is only impacting the custom forms ones.

Not sure exactly when this started, but it was not an issue when these apps were launched a couple months ago.

Also, I'll note that I'm seeing this with the production app, but not the test app (meaning, I have a test SP list with a custom form and a prod SP list with similar form).

Wondering if others are seeing this behavior?

It should only show once. I have not seen this behaviour. You can however disable the power apps permission form altogether from your app using PowerShell.

Yes, I recently learned that about this method for disabling the permissions prompt. I'm not sure my organization will allow that, but I can follow up on that. The other problem is that it's not a Canvas app and does not show up in any of our environments. The only way to edit the app is form the SP list menu, so not sure I even can disable permissions with that approach. For instance, I don't know how I would identify the environment name GUID.

Regardless, thanks for the suggestion.

When you have the app open, you can click on the setting button at the top of the screen between notification and help icon and then click on Session details.

This will give you everything you need to run the PowerShell cmdlets.
