Address Input component having 2 extended postal codes.

Hi All,

Currently using the Address input component for address lookup/validation on a form, have noticed on some address that the component is picking up two extended postal codes which does look to be a bug, has anyone else noticed this? Example address is 20 Stangray Avenue, it will only show part of the postcode then 2 full postcodes when selected or using the extended postal code.

    StevenPowerApps,

We don't have a known issue for this right now. Can you get into your configuration further? Is this a canvas app or a model-driven app? Are you using geospatial services or some data source to pull these addresses?

These can be pretty involved configurations, for example:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/how-to/mobile-apps-address-map

Typically, Power Apps itself only pulls in what data you have available and what you ask of it to pull in. Always possible we have a bug, though.

    Let us know!

    Hi Patrick,

I am using the OOTB geospatial services and it is within a canvas app. I know from the video example it only uses addresscomponet.postalcode to get the post code but for the UK it only returns the first section, we need to use extendedpostalcode to return the full postcode in this instance. A workaround was just to only take the first postcode returned as from testing this was always the correct address. I have only noticed this issue with multiple postcodes where within the same street different numbered houses may have different post codes.
