When an outlook appointment is added set status from free to busy

If a resource is booked in outlook it can be booked with the status "free". This can lead to double booking by colleagues and I always have to take care that this does not happen. Manually I can set the resource to "busy" but is there a possibility that if an event is added, the booked resource is set to "busy" automatically so that double booking is not possible anymore?

I guess this is something like default setting "busy" that can be set in the settings of the resource but I don't have access to it so if there is a possibility to automate it with a flow by myself it would be great.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

That cant be possible method, because once meeting accept only it will mark as busy , so that you need to accept meeting, if you are not accepted it will show as Available.

Once meeting got invited you will not the person busy, once accept only it will be busy.

    Regards

Thanks @Ahammad_Riyaz for your quick reply. Unforunately, it won't be marked as busy after acceptance. Maybe I need to be a little more precise on the workflow.

We have a resource that can be booked by our colleagues. If it is booked, the status is tentative and I get a notification and I have to respond to the meeting request. If a colleague sends the request with the status free and I accept it the resource status stays free. It does not change to busy automatically.
