I created a Flow for new incoming email in my shared mailbox. But the trigger only start if I read the email, not when the email comes in. Is there something to configure?

    Hi  @Christoph-hh

Unfortunately, I am unable to reproduce your issue on my development tenant and as far as I am aware the V2 version of this trigger action does not have any specific setting for that.

Have you waited a bit (up to 1 hour) without reading the e-mail to double check it was not simply a delay?

For similar trigger actions in the Outlook 365 connector Microsoft has listed a delay in trigger fire known issue:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/office365/#known-issues-and-limitations-with-triggers

Delay in a trigger fire When a new email arrives (V3)
When a new email mentioning me arrives (V3)
When an email is flagged (V3)
When an event is added, updated or deleted (V3)
Triggers fire on the corresponding event's occurrence almost immediately in most cases, but there could be rare circumstances when the trigger's delay to fire may take up to one hour.

So, it might be the same thing for your trigger?

Yes maybe I should wait longer. But after several minutes waiting I set the new email as 'read' than the flow was starting. But it can be that this was coincidence.

It really takes up to 5 minutes for the trigger of the flow to start with a new email.
Since I want the email to be edited or moved only after the flow has run through, otherwise the flow does not trigger, I set a flag on the email at the end of the flow. The flag becomes visible in Outlook and signals to the user that he can now continue to process the email.

Having a similar issue where the trigger â€œwhen a new email arrives in a shared mailbox (v2)" can take several minutes.  If an email is moved from the inbox within a few minutes, the trigger misses the email and the flow doesn't run.

This is a public, government mailbox, and asking employees to wait 5 minutes or longer before processing messages in the inbox so the flow can run is not an ideal solution for serving the public interest.

Was anyone able to increase the frequency of this trigger? The flow checks for incoming emails in a shared inbox every 3 minutes, but we would like the flow to run instantly. Any ideas how we can achieve this?
