Nesting Conditions

Good day all,

I have come across an issue which there must be a better formula for.

I have a SharePoint which has 80 columns, 40 columns are yes/no columns, the other 40 are free text columns which are related to the 40 yes/no.

If question 1 is a yes then question one free text box will be filled out by user, if no nothing will be there. the same for question 2 and so on.

My current set up is

When an item is created or modified

Condition

Question 1 is equal to true

if yes create a new item in new list populating the text in the new list with the location. If no it moves on to the next column and asks if question 2 is equal to true and so on to question 40.

The issue here is you can only nest 8 conditions meaning for this list alone I need 5 flows, is there a better way to be doing this?

Any help greatly received.

Just use 40 separate conditions in your flow. If the answer is yes, do what you need to do on the yes side of the condition and do nothing on the no side. Then do the same for each additional question. That way you have no nesting.

Thank you very much @David_MA classic case of completely over thinking it!
