Convert PCF dataset to Field : Power Apps Component framework.

Hello,

 

Can we convert the PCF Control type dataset to the field once it's created and deployed to the Environment? 

Please suggest how we can convert from dataset to field without recreating with new PCF Control.

    Hello,

    I'm afraid you will have to recreate it. The metadata of field and dataset controls is different and trying to fix those differences in the source code could be a challenge but if you want - you can try. I, anyways, would recommend creating a new control and just copy-paste the code.
