How to Make a Flow Run Fast - Web Automation

I built a process that interacts with a website and fills out forms, clicks on buttons, attaches files but I find it slower than I thought it would be.  Are there settings you can change within PowerAutomate Desktop that would allow a quicker interaction with a website and filling out forms? Clicking on buttons?  Should I stay away from certain actions that cause a significant slow down?  Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same question (0)

At the bottom of your screen, adjust run delay, however be prepared for errors.

You can have fast and wrong or slower and right, you sure your actions are configured correctly ?

All machines are different, cpu / ram etc.

UK_Mike, interesting point. Yes I have noticed with the run times it crated errors and I had to add the Wait action which defeats the purpose.  What is the recommended CPU and RAM for this maybe MY PC is not up to par?

That machine is moooooore than capable.

The default delay is there for a good reason, pointless doing it too fast, just get errors.

Double check your actions as " some " have a delay built in which you " may " have edited.

Tbh I dont find PAD slow in anyway shape or form, its quicker than me 😂

If you set the delay to 1 and insert wait for webpage content (specific elements on the page) before you click or populate it, then the process will work as fast as you webpage can respond, and you will not get any errors.
We have made loads of scripts this way, and we are running them in unattended mode (way faster than running it in PAD with the delay set to 1)
Remember that you script can only work as fast as the website can respond - it's rarely the script that is slow (unless you made some crappy coding 😁)

Do you need to have an elevated license for Unattended mode? WE have an enterprise E3 license.

We have the "Power automate per user with attended rpa plan"

This plan spans legacy and modern applications, allowing makers to create unlimited flows for API-based automation and automate legacy applications with desktop flows through Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI. This plan includes all Power Automate per user plan capabilities and the ability for users to run an attended RPA bot on their workstation. Additionally, this plan includes access to AI Builder capacity, supporting scenarios like forms processing, object detection, prediction, text classification, and recognition. This plan can be purchased for a monthly fixed cost for each user.
