Restore Permission SharePoint Site

I know how to restore the permission in each folder ou library.

Just using this: _api/web/lists/getByTitle('Documentos')/ResetRoleInheritance() ✔️

But, how to restore the permision to the site?

Users can be added directly in this location, or also can be added in permisions of site.

Again, im talkin about the users or groups that was added in the Site, not in the Folder, File or Library.

Thanks 😃

    Hi @petrinnn,

ResetRoleInhertiance means it will look at its parent and use whatever is there. This works for files and folders because they have a parent with a permissions setup (the site).

The site does not have a parent to look at, because every site has its own unique permissions. So, as far as I know there is not such a method for a site object in SharePoint Online.

So, just to double check understand your requirement. You want to remove all owners and members of the Microsoft 365 Group connected to the site? If that is not the case, what do you want to restore to?

    Hi @Expiscornovus ,

    Thanks for you help!

I think i got the answer yesterday.

I didnt know that when we add some user in the main page, like this image below.. is a Microsoft 365 Group.

There is a difference between add in this place from to add in advanced permisions of SharePoint site.

In the advanced permisions of SharePoint site, we add users in SharePoint Group.

In the main page, we add users in Microsoft 365 Group..

In this case, i resolved this, removing all users from Microsoft 365 Group using an azure ad action in automate.

And the other one, using http rest in automate.

    Thanks!!!
