When New Email arrives to a group -- how to get sender email?

When someone emails a group, I want to check group membership based on the sender email.  Why does the group connector not surface sender info or any info from the new email???

    So I can't get the sender's email if they send an email to an Office 365 group but I can if they send something to an individual or shared mailbox?  This seems crazy to me.

    Hi @clechner,

    You could workaround this by using a Get a thread post action.

    Use the following expressions for the Thread ID & Post ID:

    triggerOutputs()?['body']['threads'][0]['id']
    triggerOutputs()?['body']['threads'][0]['posts'][0]['id']

    Hah!  Brilliant!  I feel silly now not thinking about going that direction.  I appreciate the help and patience.

    I am not sure I did this right, but i followed your steps and added the reply to email (v3) as the next step, but no replies are being sent.  Did this functionality change?

    I was finally able to get this working.  Instead of trying to reply to the incoming email message, I changed it to simply "Send an Email (V2)".  This works well for what I wanted but i did notice a slight limitation with the "From" address in this connection.  This would only work with me as the From.  If I set it to anybody else in the address book, even people who are team owners (Human Resources) and have the send as right, it would fail with "Not Authorized to send on behalf of" error.  I actually wish that field could just be any typed address like "HR@domain.com".  Anyways here is a screenshot for anyone trying to alert people who send an email to the Team group.

    Unrelated to this specific issue, but has anyone else's "When a new email arrives to a group" trigger stopped working? My inbox is still getting new emails but the flow is not triggering anymore. This only started happening a few days ago and I did not change anything on my end.
