Converting UTC to Location Time

Good afternoon.

I am trying to setup FLOW to send me an email when an entry is entered into a shared calendar with start and end date's and time.  The emails I am receiving now is formatted in UTC, I would like it in EST.  Any suggestions on how to do this?

Thank you in advance.

Regards.

    Hi @Sicorius,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow’s configuration?

I suppose that you filled the Start time and End time of the event into Body of email, is it true?

If you want to convert the time zone of "Start time" and "End time" from UTC to EST, please take a try with the following workaround:11.JPG

The flow works successfully as below:

If you want to convert the time zone of incoming email from UTC to EST, I afraid that there is no way to achieve this in Microsoft Flow currently.

    Best regards,

    Kris

    Kris;

That did the trick.  It is converting base UTC to Eastern, just as needed.  Thank you so very much.

Happy Holidays to you & your family.

Hi! I've done what you mentioned on the post for converting from UTC to Central Standard Time Mexico (UTC-6:00) and this is what I get:Captura.PNG

The output does not contain the hour, just the day. The converted time I get is 00:00 of the day before. I can see this because the next step of the flow is create an event:

@Anonymous did you figure this out? If so can you share? What changes the output date? 😕

Thanks for the tip on the "Time Zone Conversion"

I'm still experiencing some challenges with my SP project.

I've setup a flow that creates a new event in an Outlook calendar evertime a new item is created in ShrPnt.

The Time Zone Conversion (UTC to UTC-5) works fine for event with defined start and end time

But when an all day event is created in the ShrPnt list, I end up on having en event from 7:00pm to 6:59pm in the calendar.

Would you know how to fix that ?

    Thanks

How about when the action required is to create an event with the converted time?

It doesn't seem to accept the converted time in the start and end time fields:

    That's how it's set

    - when new event is created

    - update time zone for start date & time

    - update time zone for end date & time

    - create new event in outlook calendar using the converted time zone
