Hello Sir/Madam,

                           I am try out the function of sending email automatically based on the future date has been set. The requirement are after 7 or 14 days, the flow will be automatically sending the email to that respective person. Moreover, I was able to get the actual future time from the 'Substring' and 'Compose'. Then, I set the 'ReminderDate' which is the column name from excel, equals to the substring, 'ReminderDate' eq 'Substring'. After run the test flow, the future date can be capture correctly but none of the email was send to that person. Is it because the date has not been reach so the email can't be send out? The attachment as per attached is the full flow.

    If I'm understanding correctly, you are trying to test it by filtering the rows with the specified future date and running those through the "Apply to each" to send the emails. Do you see any records in the outputs of your filter query? You can also try manually setting the filter to a specific date to see if it will capture the records and send the emails. Something like 'ReminderDate' eq '2023-08-24' should work, or any other date you have in the ReminderDate column.

    If you aren't trying to test it and you are simply running it to send the emails, then if you have things set up correctly, the emails won't be sent as the ReminderDate isn't "today." Typically when doing reminder emails you check the ReminderDate against today, such as 'ReminderDate' eq 'utcNow()'. You can also format utcNow() to match if it's giving you errors using the formateDateTime expression.

    Thanks for your advice @Ryan_B . I am able to send it email to the respective person where the condition are met. And, I have a problem regarding the time zone. My time zone is (UTC+08:00) Kuala Lumpur, Singapore which refer to 'Singapore Standard Time'. After running the test flow for 7 days, the future time should be return on '25-08-2023' but it return as '24-08-2023', which is less one day for my region. Moreover, I have set my 'Recurrence' to (UTC+08:00) Kuala Lumpur, Singapore. Any advice for this matter? Is it we are going to use the convert time zone function on the beginning of the flow?

    Have you checked your settings to make sure they're set to your time zone?

    Since you are using the "Get future time" action, it should be pretty straightforward in terms of getting the right date.

    Hi @Ryan_B

    I had changed the setting to my time zone: 'Malaysia', but it did not work it out.

    Rather than using the "Get future date" action, have you tried a simple "Compose" action with this formula to see if it gives you the proper date?

    addDays(utcNow(), 7)

    It could have something to do with the way the action gets the date based on UTC and isn't accounting for your time zone properly.

    Hi @Ryan_B ,

                         I have try it out the simple "Compose" action and the formula that you gave. But, it still return as "24-08-2023".

    @Seank02

    We may have to do a time zone conversion then. I ran a test using your time zone and got the correct date:

    Try this and see if it solves the issue.

    You can just use another "Convert time zone" action and specify the format string as a custom value:
