Populate text field on web page is not keeping the formatting

Hello,

I'm using PAD, I believe is the free version, not the cloud one. Using the "Populate text field on web page" is not keeping the formatting of the text, I mean, no carriage returns are posted to the webpage.

I tried to insert
,
, \r and other charactes, still, they are writen as is in the page.
The text in the example above will be posted as:
"This isa newline"

Am I using the correct action? Or there's something in the page preventing me to post the carriage returns?

I appreciate any help on this matter.

thx! ^^

Have you tried to add "{Shift}({Return})" as line break?

Ok so the trick is just disable the below option "Populate text using physical keystrokes"

For this page I need to have the physical keystrokes on.

Still, I workaround it by making PAD to open notepad to type the text, then ctrl+A, ctrl+C, ALT+F4, and then after opening the page I asked PAD to send the keys ctrl+V.

    XD
