Flow emails are coming from me and not the Flow

Hi all, I am trying to create an action tracker where when an action item is created in a sharepoint list, an email notification will be sent to the Action owner it is assigned to and when the action is due they will also receive an email notification. However the issue I have is that when the email is sent, the sender is me. As I am only an intern at the company, I will not be here permanently so is there any way to change the sender to something like "microsoft@powerapps.com" or even just change the sender to a different person like my colleague in the workplace?

Here is a picture of the flow:

I saw someone mention to use the Mail action instead of the Outlook mail action, however when I run the flow successfully I still don't receive anything in my email.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks 🙂

Mail sent by the Flow will normally be sent using the account of the Flow Maker.  That is you.  For some of the Mail actions you can set a From Account, but then the maker of the flow must have "send as" permission to that mailbox, which you probably don't have.  In this case it would be better to get a Service account that you can use to login as when creating the flow. Then the mail will be sent from that service account.  But the account will need to have a license and mailbox, so there is an additional cost.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

The mail would sent by the connection account in the send email action, you could take a try to modify the connection account in the send email action.

    Best regards,
