How can I set up different approval flows based on the options in the form?

Hi all,

I'm trying to create a different approval flow. When there is a form response, different approvers are decided based on the options in the form.

For example, when “a” is selected, there is an “A” approval; when “b” is selected, there is a “B” approval.

A total of 3 levels of approval are required, the approver for the first level is determined based on the options in the form, the approver for the second level is one person, and the approver for the third level is another person.

After a layer of approvals, the results are emailed back to the internal contacts, such as the aforementioned “a”,“b” and others.Approval is granted only after all approvers at each level have approved.

I'm new to the MS Power Automate forums and I'm hoping you can help me out.I would appreciate it.

    Hi @Yumikang

There are many tutorials you can find on how to work with multi level approvals in power automate, see below for reference

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gb_FUeRjgg4

Also since your approval (first ) depends on response from forms, so you have to use switch actions to distinguish between different form responses, see below

thank you for your reply, but there also have some questions:

1、I can't open the URL you provided, probably because I'm in China???I will check out the other tutorials in the forum based on the method you provided, thanks again for your reply.

2、I can't find the variable action in my actions list, so I can't add the action in your image.

So, you can choose Built-in in the run time properties when add new action and you can see the variable.
