Delete News Post using Flow

I am trying to come up with an easy way to automate deletion of news post. SharePoint way of going inside of Site Pages just confuses users, and they feel lost.

My idea is to add a "Do you want to delete" choice column with Yes and No options, once Yes is selected flow should trigger to delete it.

I am getting stuck at delete an item. It fails every time in Power Automate.

How do you handle management of News Posts, especially the one's open for all employees to post?

My next stage would be to manipulate the permissions on newly created news post to lock it done to, everyone read, post created to edit.

Thanks!

    Hi @ManUCaptain15,

According to your description, I create a Flow below, you could set the SharePoint connection to your authentication to make the delete action could run properly.

What if we create a post with images inside the pot, the image is stored in another file in site content > site assets > sitepages, the image is still stored in sharepoint even the post is deleted. Deleting the news post only deletes the post but not its "assets", eg. images, videos, pdf... Any solution that allows us to delete the post, and delete the site assets at the same time?
