Powerapps push notification received or not?

Hi all,

I'm using a flow to send a Powerapps push notification to multiple users once a day. Is there a way to know if the notification was really received?

The run history shows that the notifications are always sent successfully and I receive them myself. But not all users always do.

They seem to meet all te requirements (have the app installed and are logged in, push notifications are allowed, have an internet connection, etc.) and they often get them but not every time.

Regards,

Iris

In every push notification, you can keep your email id or a shared email id in BCC of the email to track which notifications sent by the flow. If anyone complaints that they did not the notification, you can forward it.

Another tip: Before and after sending notification, you can place compose action in the flow to see if the notification action really executed or not.

Sometimes, the words in the email subject, attachments or body content can be filtered by the email exchange rules by blocking the rules. Check with your IT admin why some users are not receiving the email. I am sure they can track it if the email really sent by the flow.

    Hi @iris_k ,

I'm afraid that the only way is to check if the email notification exists in the user's inbox.

No any easy way to check if the notification is received in Microsoft flow currently.

    Best Regards,

    Alice

    Hi guys,

Thank you very much for your answers. Unfortunately I don't mean email notifications (than the BCC option would be a great solution!), but the push notifications send to the Powerapp application on someone's phone (this connector: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/powerappsnotification/).

Thank you for your answer. Of course not what I was hoping for, but helpful because I know I can stop looking if this is possible. 🙂
