Using a flow in both SharePoint and Teams

That would depend on the Trigger used and the environment where the flow was stored.  Regular Power Apps flows stored in the default environment should be visible in a Teams site.  If you explain what you are trying to do I may be able to provide a better answer.

Hi @Pstork1 , thanks for answering my question so quickly. I accidentally posted the above heading before I got the chance to add content to the post itself 🙄.

I created a flow to test and use in a SharePoint document library:

    Flow createdFlow created

The below screenshot shows how the flow can be started in SharePoint:

Flow used in SharePointFlow used in SharePoint

I want to use the same flow in Teams, but it's not showing up as a selectable option like it does in SharePoint, as per the below screenshot:

Flow can't be found in TeamsFlow can't be found in Teams

The same SharePoint document library is accessible via Teams, so I assumed that whatever is visible in SharePoint is visible in Teams? Or is there some sort of setting in Teams that needs to be enabled in order to use the same flow? Appreciate any help with this. Thanks!

** Update to my original question: I noticed that in Teams, my flow is there under the Power Automate section (screenshot below). However, it is listed as 'N/A' under Team and channel. I can't find where I can set the flow to be visible and usable for the Teams channels anywhere?

In this case, no it won't show up in the Teams interface as a selectable flow.  The N/A is because its associated with a document library in SharePoint, not a Team.  I know the document library is providing file storage for the Team, but that's not quite the same as being part of the Team.  The channels in the Team are connected to Folders in the Library, but the root of the Library isn't actually connected to the Team, just the folders.  So since the Selected File trigger is connected to the library, not the folder it doesn't show up in Teams.

Thanks for the detailed explanation, @Pstork1. I know I can always recreate the flow in Teams, but is there any way to export or migrate the flow over to Teams at all, without having to recreate it? I understand your point about the document library providing file storage for Teams and it's not quite the same as being part of Teams. Yet, I'm curious to know if there's some way to move flows around given the platforms are somewhat connected and/or aligned?

If the flow was built as part of a solution you can install the solution elsewhere.  This is the easiest way to do it.  But if its not already in a solution you should still be able to export/Import the flow.  After Import you will need to make some changes because I don't think the For a Selected File triggered flow is ever going to show in Teams.

Thanks @Pstork1. Noted about the 'For a Selected File' triggered flow may not show in Teams. I built the flow for use with our company's SharePoint document library, and assumed it would work in Teams as well since they seem to be so tightly integrated with one another. I see that I can export flows from the Flow website as a zipped package, but it doesn't look like I can import flows into Teams? Or am I barking up the wrong tree? FYI, I'm a brand new user to creating and using flows, hence the seemingly silly questions. 😋

This may not be what you want, but if you go to the Power Apps client in Teams > Build Tab > Show all items > Cloud flows. You will see a link to import a flow.

@Pstork1, thank you so much! I think this is exactly what I want.

But...after exporting the flow as a zip package to my computer, I attempted to import it via Teams and get the following message:

Import Flow Package to Teams Error MessageImport Flow Package to Teams Error Message

Am I doing this incorrectly or is there something missing in the zip file?

It looks like Import into Teams only works with Solution packaged flows not ones exported as Zips.  I wasn't aware of that limitation.
