I don't have much experience with power automate so I wondering if it would be the right tool for this scenario. Based on what I've read I think it might be.
Thought 1
I have a in house file sharing portal (all sharepoint based) in my company. Clients upload files here that are required to do the work for the clients.
There is also a different platform where the work is actually completed (also has sharepoint) but my company buys the license to use this so it's a different environment.
I'm looking for a way to automatically pull the files from the file sharing portal directly into the sharepoint site on the work platform. For example, a client uploads a file and then it will automatically be pulled into the platform. So when an employee at my company logs in, it will already be there (so they don't need to download it from the file sharing site and then reupload it to the work platform).
It also needs to go the other way too. An employee is working in the platform and needs something and selects "send request", the request would be sent to the file sharing platform which would then be sent to the client.
Thought 2
The client logs into the file sharing site and is automatically rerouted to the work platform where they can upload the document directly. The goal is for the client to only deal with 1 login and have them feel like they are only using 1 product (the file sharing service).
Is this something that power automate could help with?
