Since 05/04/2024 we can not send mails to more then 10 persons anymore with Power automate. Is there something changed since 05/04/2024 for Power Automate ?

    Hello all,

I created a Power automate support ticket on 9/04/2024 and i had a talk with a person of the support team but we did no changes and the day after 10/04/2024 all the persons in the mailing list received again the mail with the data coming from Power BI -- strange very strange .  thank you all

    Re: Power Automate send mails

It would make sense since the connector has limitations as mentioned before in this thread.
I suggest you either modify the loop so that it loops the mailing list sending 5 per 5minutes and making sure it will not send over 100 in 24 hours.

OR you use different send email connector like outlook.
    Read: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/sendmail/

It could be that the connector was just changed so that it wouldn't be used for spam. There is no mention when it has been last updated.

I am having the exact same issue which started on the same date. My flow had not been edited in months and suddenly on Friday it now only sends to the first 10 people on the mailing list.

    Hi ,

As per the Power Automate document its show limit of sending mail .

    Email Limits:

    • “Send an email notification (V3)” has the following limitations:
      • It can send a maximum of 100 emails every 24 hours.
      • The sender is always â€śMicrosoft Power Apps and Flow”.

you can try to use send an mail from share mail box (V2) into your flow

(Note:- if you got your solution you can mark as solution and gives kudos)

    Thanks & Regards

Is it possible for you to change that action to Outlook Send an email (v2) -action?
That action seems to have limitations for 5 mails per 5 mins so its not used as spam.

    Link for this connector: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/sendmail/

Also for the future this forum is for Power Automate Desktop. This would fit better in the Building flows forum: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/bd-p/BuildingFlows

    Re: Power Automate send mails

The first 10 mail addresses receive a mail and the rest NOT.  In the past before last Friday 05/04/2024 it worked perfectly and now anymore !!!!

    Hi,

Can provide some screenshot of what error comes when you use send mail action and provide screenshot of

your flow and which version you have to used of PAD.

because you can send mail more than 10 person , it does not throw any error
