Can't Delete a Excel file on OneDrive - Delete File Function Is Not Working Properly

Hi,

My flow is to delete an existing Excel file saved on OneDrive whenever I received a specified email.

It first worked when I saved my workflow (please see the snapshot below). But it starts failing when I tried it the second time and after. The error message is "404 The resource can not find". But I didn't change anything.

I can't find out where the issue is. I also researched similar issues but didn't find the solution that I need.

Thank everyone for your help.

    Hi @Anonymous

Do you want to delete the specific file on OneDrive with the same name as the email attachment, delete the file and then save the attachment to OneDrive?

Delete file action need add file id in it. The file id of each file is different. When you delete the selected file and run Flow again, the deleted file id will not be found.

I modified the Flow, you can take a try with the following screenshots.

This is my specific file stored in copy to folder.

    Hello @v-LilyW-msft ,

This did perfectly work for me. I was having the same trouble in deleting the file and this post helped me in resolving the issue. Thanks a ton. This saved a lot of hours.

    Thanks,

    Ramya
