I am looking to store stock price data for our company's stock (NYSE) in a SharePoint list and also display the current value on our intranet's home page. I had it working via Power Automate by following these directions but discovered that the stock price source, Alpha Vantage, now only gives the prior day's closing price, unless you want to switch to their paid provider partner.

Does anyone know of a better stock price source? I am only pulling the price every 10 minutes while the market is open, so only about 1,050 pulls a month (6 pulls an hour * 7 hours a day * 25 days a month). So it does not need to be realtime.

I am wondering if there is a way to screen scrape it from the Yahoo Finance page, but I've no experience with that. 🙁

Hi @abm,

Can you please advise what other forum to use here? I am using Power Automate to pull down stock prices and save them in a SharePoint list and am enquiring for a good source of data. The article that I used to create my current flow is based in Power Automate, so I would think this is relevant.

I am not a developer, I am a Power Automate user. I am asking the Power Automate community for some help. Is there a different PA forum that I should be using?

Hi @Ukiman1014

What I meant is if your question is regarding how to use a Power Automate action then this is the forum to use. Your question is which API you can use for pulling a live stock update. This is mainly third party providers API which Power Automate community won't be able to answer it. If you have trouble using the API regarding HTTP, authentications, Parse JSON, etc definitely this is the right forum.

I agree with @abm the Power Automate community will not be the best place to ask such type of question.

Okay, thank you @CFernandes and @abm . I'll check out some of those searches. I'd still like to post back here what I end up using, just to finish out the question and maybe assist another P.A. user who may search here.
